Vaginal dryness: The level of 'dryness" of the vagina is greatly impacted by two factors.
1) if the patient is in menopause
2) psychological and social factors that may interfere with sexual function.

If you are in the menopausal state, you may be able to see you gynecologist to evaluate if you are a candidate for hormonal therapy.

: Depends. If you have regular menses it may be the speculum is not the right size for your opening. If you have never had menses it opens a different set of issues. In rare cased women have been born without all their female parts. The doc who evaluates you should have the best information on which to explain your case.

Needs med attention: Labial adhesions may be asymptomatic or cause difficulty with urination, recurrent urinary tract infections, or recurrent vaginal infections.  Topical application of estrogen cream often dissolve the adhesion.

Discuss with doc: It is not clear from your question whether this is  a knitting of the labia minora, that commonly occurs in young infants, or a vagina with no opening. Both occur, the first a lot more often than the second. I would bring this to the attention of the doc.There are different treatments available for both.

See your doctor: you may have an webbed hymen blocking intercourse or very rarely some women will have a congenital disorder called mullerian agenesis, which can result in a blind ended vagina and no cervix or uterus. If you have never had a period in your life this may be the case. See your doctor and get examined, they will be able to help you with any of these issues.

is it possible to get infection diseases through public toilets? if water accidentally splashes right on the vulva, does it go inside the vagina? the vagina is always closed while using the restroom right?

: What you described is highly unlikely to result in infection. If you develop a sore on your vulva or have any other local symptoms, it would be prudent to see your doctor.

You are pregnant!: This is a normal circumstance when a baby grows and puts pressure on your pelvis during pregnancy. It is too late to back out of the process at this stage until delivery. (smile)

Try yeast meds: Since the office is closed simply try an over the counter yeast medication at any pharmacy. If it does not hep then schedule a visit for testing when the office opens tomorrow.

hello,asides from chlamydia & gonorrhea are there any other stis that can cause the inside of the entrance to the vagina to swell? my partner has noticed discomfort and the entrance looks more closed than usual.both tested neg for g,c,s& hiv thanks?
