Viral infection pain: If you are certain it as boils than you have to be seen by gyn to rule out herpes besides trauma. Vaginitis seldom presents as boil. Except aforementioned possibility. No matter what you definitely need a gyn consultation. Take care.

bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) ds 1.5 days (2x yesterday, 1x today) for a vagina boil. heart palpitations & shortness of breath since yesterday. can i stop taking it early?

Start another med: Would stop the Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) and call your health care provider to prescribe another antibiotic.   One and one half days is not likely time enough to cure your infection.

i have anal discharge, non smelling white vaginal discharge, itchy vagina, boils on my thighs and anus. last test said e.coli. cipro, klovinal, dazel kit has been taken, last year, no change. possible cause? pelvic scan shows no abnormalities.

Proctitis? Yeast?: Yeast infection is possible, can be worsened by antibiotics like ciprofloxacin. Klovinal and Dalzel Kit are anti-yeast, but some yeasts may be resitant. Positive test for E. coli means nothing, normally present in everybody's intestines and anal area. Staph infection? STD testing done? Checked for ulcerative proctitiis and Crohn's dis? See infectious disease specialist or maybe proctologist.

Allergic?: Hives are not always allergic. In this case if they are allergic, they may have been triggered by the condom or lubricant used. People with latex allergy can have hives with latex condoms.

Schedule a visit: It is unclear what is going on in this description. If you are having a bloody vaginal discharge then you should be seen. If you are talking about a ruptured boil or abscess on or near the vagina you should also be seen.

Herpes: Have you gotten check for herpes and received anti-virals?  A lot of time, herpetic lesions can be confused with regular bacterial infections especially when they become secondarily infected.  There is a blood test for herpes and if you turn +, you will need anti-viral meds.

Thanks for asking!: Pimple or boil is mainly caused by staph infection .In mild cases you may use cleansers such as Chlorhexidine and apply antibiotic ointment such as mupiricin.In  severe cases you may need oral antibiotics. Consult your primary care.

i have been experiencing reaccuring boils on vagina, lots of itching and drynes on the skin! boils start off small and then enlarge during period.

Hidradenitis: Boils can occur due to hidradenitis or due to chaffing, friction, heat or shaving. I would suggest not shaving to the skin (if you do) , making the area dry if moist and see a doctor if it persists. Good luck
