Talk to his MD: He could have sleep apnea , will need sleep studies to monitor and detect the problem . Ask you family doctor for referral  to sleep study centre .

Pharingitis: It is called Uvula. If You  also have tonsillar enlargement and White exudate on them; Then there is Tonsillitis. Cough, sore throat and Inflammation of Uvula/ Pharynx may need Antibiotic. Please see your doctor . Meanwhile Use Throat Lozenges, and Gargle with salt and warm water. Also take Ibuprofen for pain and Qufenasin for Coughing.

About mouth ulcers: They can be canker sores, cold sores, yeast overgrowth, etc... Cold sores are on lips or face, and are caused by recurrences of herpes virus, which travel to the skin surface from time to time to create sores (but initial herpes infection sores are often inside the mouth). Canker sores are inside the mouth and are not from herpes, but due to the immune system reacting to something in the mouth.

Throat: Maybe from something you ate or perhaps even inspisated sputum or some type of allergy or irritation.
Reasonable to drink water and take pain reliever if needed. If this does not improve get checked.

Mouth: Could be your uvula which can he infected or traumatized from hot liquids. Start with a salt water gargle and a spray like chloraseptic but you should have it checked out and possibly cultured. May need antibiotics

i was on wellbutrin but the pills were too big and i let them disintegrate in my mouth b/c i couldn't swallow them whole. i ended up having a seizure re: serotonin syndrome. can i go back on wellbutrin if i take as prescribed with the smaller pill?

: By PDR: "the manufacturer states that the tablets should be swallowed whole and should not be cut, chewed, or crushed since this may lead to an increased risk of adverse effects including seizures". I think that you can resume taking wellbutrin by swallowing multiple small, intact pills. Take care.

See an oral surgeon : Dry mouth can be a result of many causes such as certain medications, salivary gland flow problems or obligate mouth breathing (nasal obstruction).  See an oral surgeon for an evaluation.

Dr. can check throat: New throat symptoms can be from a strep throat infection (antibiotics are needed), a cold or influenza (antibiotics usually not used), or from some other cause such as allergies, irritants, or stomach acid reflux. Usually, a person sees the doctor if the sore throat is bothersome, recurrent, or doesn't go away quickly (mainly to check for strep throat).

Sore throat: It sounds like a routine sore throat, which is usually viral, but it could be bacterial.  Allergic reactions can cause swelling of the uvula, but it wouldnt typically hurt.  If it gets worse, see your doctor as you might need an antibiotic.  Feel better.
