Better to look at: Actual results rather than the ratio. What are the results for BUN and creatinine? Please note that all lab results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that.

Talk to doctor: However although a bladder infection is usually responsive to the right antibiotic, infection involving the kidneys is more difficult to treat.  In addition a simple urine culture may not unveil all of the potential infections which may at times require DNA detection for the infection. Best to call your doctor.
