Much like a baloon expands because the amount of air increasing, so does the uterus (uterine walls) do the same.  This begins in the first few weeks of pregnancy; within a month after conception, pelvic exam shows enlargement.

Absolutely: Make sure you share you history of a c-section with your obstetrician or midwife. It can possibly affect your pregnancy, & will certainly affect your delivery. Many women do deliver after c-section with the right care if the incision was of the right type. It is a good idea to get a copy of the operative report  for your c-section so that if you go into labor without warning you will have it.

They are removed in a procedure involving hysteroscopy, where a camera tube similar to a laparascope is introduced through the cervix and into the Uterus and small cutting tools are used to cut and remove the scar tissue. Success is variable as scar tissue may reform.

Pelvic infections: Any type of major pelvic or abdominal infections such as PID, Tuberculosis, or a ruptured infected intestine can cause external and internal uterine adhesions.
