Can cause harm: The steroid component can cause atrophy and thinning of the skin, as well as acne. The tretinoin component can cause an inflammatory reaction in UV light. Hope that helps.

Hydro quinine: The lightening ingredient works by blocking the pigment producing cells in the skin.  It is safe to stop the cream but I would expect the pigment to gradually return when ever you stop the cream.

Pimples etc.: You need to set up an appointment with a primary doctor to help clean up your problems.
Keep going with the SkinLite cream until a day or two before you see the doctor.

Stop doing this: And get seen by a competent physician. Don't try to alter your natural skin color or you risk disfiguring yourself. Hyper pigmentation by alkapton and other biprodycts is a serious risk. Manage your acne with benzoyl peroxide until you can get seen. In the US, where world trends usually begin, skin color means nothing and physical fitness means everything. Hit the gym and be proud of your genes.

Find the cause: If familial, nothing.  Just camouflage with makeup. See a dermatologist if you want a more specific diagnosis or if this is new.

White spot  needs Dx: Th e white  spot  needs a diagnosis. Was it there  before you used the elosone cream? What is the correct  spelling of elosone? Dose it have  steroids in it. This can cause  whitening of the skin. You need to have your physician send you to a dermatologist.

See a dermatologist: Begin with precise diagnosis. Then learn how to control it. You probably need prescriptions. Meanwhile use something for dry skin. I prefer creams containing ceramides. Avoid caustic soaps. Dove, Eucerin, Aveeno, (oatmeal) Neutrogena all make nice skin cleansers and ceramide creams.

Clobetasone: It is a topical steroid for inflammatory skin disorders.  Only for external use.  Not recommended to use on lips as may come in contact with the inside (mucous membrane) which is to be avoided..
