Yes but not because: The piles (hemorrhoids) can bleed anytime. The ct should not have caused it unless you had some sort of cleansing regimen that caused you to wipe the anal area frequently.

Only if infected: Antibiotics only work for bacterial infections.  "Piles" or hemorrhoids don't usually get infected, although you can have a peri-anal abscess that can be confused with a hemorrhoid.  That abscess does require antibiotics and frequently operation.

i went to the dr 2 weeks ago because i experienced problems in my rectum/anus. when i sitdown its painfully. i have no piles. it feels inflamed. i was on antibiotics for prostate inflammation but that didn't cure the problem. what can this be..i'm only 38

Anal fissure: You likely have a tiny tear in the short distance from the outside (the anus) /inside (the rectum).  This short (1") length is the "anal canal" encircled by 2 strong muscles "the anal sphincter."  a very tiny tear in the lining of the anal canal creates severe pain before, during, and after a bowel movement, "like passing glass."  it may feel you're sitting on a golf ball.  See a rectal surgeon.

had a pelvic/abd ct scan w/iv, rectal & oral contrast. how accurate for crc detection. have bleeding from internal hemorrhoids now. ct was 3 years ago?

Not Very: Ct colonography is a good screening test for colorectal cancer, but a routine ct (even with contrast) is not. Furthermore, a lot can develop in 3 years. I recommend that you meet w/your primary care doctor or a gastroenterologist to decide if a colonoscopy should be done.

my wife is 17 weeks preg.has a uti infection and piles. our local gp has put her on antibiotics specifically for preg. she has completed the dosage, yet still experiencing pain and urinating problems. also worried about baby. pls advise?

i went to the er 2 nights ago bcuz i had a bm with a lot of blood. they did a ct without contrast. they said a hemorrhoid probably ruptured. i got the results emailed to me and it says fecal stasis. what is that i couldnt find anything online?

Fecal stasis : This describes that your colon is filled with fecal material and probably not getting out so easily. The stool in the colon can become harden when not eating enough water or fiber. When trying to have a bowel movement the person  pushes hard and irritates the veins around the rectum (hemorrhoids)  that bleeds . There are other reasons for fecal stasis. See a doctor a primary care doctor

had a fecal occult bloodbtest come back positive. had a ct scan done and blood test come back normal and a colonoscopy scheduled soon. no noticeable hemorrhoids. are the chances of something serious small, especially at 31?

: That occult blood could have come from your mouth all the way down to the anus. If you're not experiencing black or gross red blood in significant amounts, repeated occult blood tests aren't strongly positive and have no gastrointestinal symptoms, at your age I predict no serious  GI pathology will be found.

Never assume: You need to see your doctor and have a digital exam done with an anoscopy done at the minnimum. Depending on what is found and if the bpr persist, then you need a colonoscopy. One should never assume anything in medicine.

Hemmorhoids: Many people present with "piles" and this can actually be the issue or one of many other problems that your doctor can help

there are dietary, behavioral, hygiene modifications as well as procedures that can help with these common problems.

Both constipation and diarrhea can lead to this  condition as well

it is best if you consult with a general or colorectal surgeon to help with this matter.
