what are suggestions for a lump/cyst next to a female's urethra?

Different options: That area has a lot of things in it both in the skin and below it.  Sweat glands, hair follicles and skin cysts as well as lymph nodes, fatty tissue, vessels, tendons and other things.  Is the lump growing, inflamed, painful, painless, draining, recurrent or constant, moveable or fixed...?  Each of these (and many more) will provide your doc the answers as to what it is and what needs to be done.

i have just had a cyst removed from my urethra (1.5 weeks ago) is it normal to still have a small lump and will it go in time, or is it permanent?

Unclear for answer..: The specifics of location of the cyst and how its removal was done are unclear enough to deduce right answer. Without further question, I only guess the small lump could be the resolving sutured tissue of the surgical site, which takes more than 4-8 weeks to "completely" resolve; yet, at times, a residual palpable lump may persist forever reflecting the nature of your tissue and the suture used.

i have a cyst that covers my urethra found 2 days before i gave birth (now 4months pp)was pea size now marble sized no one seems concerned but me?

Get second opinion: It may not be concerning in the sense that its may just be a benign cyst, yet anything that's growing or bothering you deserves to be evaluated.  Cysts are typically easy treated by an OB/Gyn by drainage or excision.  good luck.

i  had  a biopsy half  the  prostate  is  benign  cyst  the  other  half  is  cancer  gleason  9    can  i  have  a pvp  to  open  the  urethra  up ?

Prostate cancer: You could have a pvp or TURP but what treatment are you considering to definitively treat your cancer. High grade aggressive cancer needs aggressive treatment if it is confined to the prostate. Radiation or radical prostatectomy is indicated if your staging workup is negative(ct/bone scan) if this has already spread, hormonal therapy should be started soon good luck.

Probably yes: If the cyst is not painful or otherwise bothersome you could consider waiting, but usually it is best to have it at least opened  &amp; drained, or completely removed, before it gets inflamed or infected

Maybe-Check this out: Skene duct cysts develop next  to the distal urethra, sometimes causing perineal discharge, dyspareunia, urinary obstruction, or abscess formation. So it's possible. You should have an exam by your gynecologist to be on the safe side.

i had a cyst on the outside of my urethra taken out by an obgyn a few days ago. it hurts when i urinate. is there an infection or is it just healing?

Call your doc : I would recommend calling your doctor and asking them; it could be a urinary tract infection, especially if a Foley catheter was placed during surgery.  An infection requires immediate attention and antibiotics, so call your doctor

No: Treatment of urethral cysts depends on location and if they are causing symptoms.  If the cysts are around or near the urethral meatus and not causing discomfort or interfering with voiding then they generally do not need to be treated.  A urethral diverticulum is not a true cyst but a weak point in the urethra wall which may need treatment if it contributes to infection.  Get your doctor's advice
