By itself, no: Many people have back pain; so back pain by itself is not a sign of breast cancer. However, if you have a history of breast cancer or if you find a lump in your breast or axilla (armpit), then you should check with your doctor since breast cancer frequently travels to bone. If the backpain persists, do go see your doctor (not necessary for breast cancer, but to evalaute also for other reasons).

Reflux?: Lots of causes of right sided chest pain and back pain. With antacid relief gastric reflux - where stomach acids move backwards up the esophagus - moves up the list. But this could be pneumonia, pleurisy, gall bladder, liver, kidney stone, and others. You should get it checked out by your doctor.

my sister has had severe lower back pain for about 10 days and has been undergoing chemotheraphy with immunotherapy as she has metastatic triple negative breast cancer. she is taking steriods now, as well as cbd oil, and tylenol but suffering still?

: Sorry but your question is not clear. I assume that you sister has metastatic breast cancer which involves the spines and it causes back pain. Steroids will help but it take time, she may need narcotic med and local radiation therapy if pain persists. Tylenol is not strong enough.

Complicated: How were you treated for breast cancer?  If you had a cyst and you have an increase in symptoms, I would recommend a repeat ultrasound to evaluate the cyst (which can cause nausea).  As far as the bleeding symptoms, I would be concerned about an endometrial polyp especially is your treatment included tamoxifen.  Consult a physician.

First, pain due to a: Cancer tends to be more prevalent at night and is constant, not just when you are awake.  Tests are good but a clinical evaluation done well is the best way to help diagnose a problem followed by indicated testing.  Sounds like it is not cancer based but you should get a diagnosis of what your problem is.

Back and chest pain: Honestly there are many things that you could have including cancer or heart problems .  But i would first recommend that you see your primary care physician as soon as possible for evaluation.

i have had upper back pain on right for a year now. mri of thrastic doesn't show anything to warrant the pain i have. ct of chest 8 months ago clear. should i repeat ct? its getting worse. cancer?

Second opinion: This is complicated! ct/mri normal.

You want to have to expertise of a highly trained doctor who will get a thorough history and physical. Cancer not really a possibility but better check with a highly educated doc.
