use of the ppi's.
Maybe someone else might know more about it.
Smoking is certainly implicated in development of nonunions ; improper ; insufficient immobilization of a fx or an osteotomy can go on to develop it.

Please restate : your question.  Did you have a surgical repair ?  It isn't clear from your question.  If you have entrapment, surgery is often required to move the nerve out of the way.  Often the pinky and ring fingers are affected and notable weakness in the affected hand.

The ultimate goal is to reduce your pain and improve motion.

Osteotomy: A fulkerson ostetomy involves cutting the tibial tuberosity, which in the site of attachment of the patellar tendon on the tibia (shin bone).  The location of the tuberosity is then adjusted.  It is typically performed for arthritis, and patellar instability.

8-12 weeks: A triplane osteotomy of the hip means redirecting the cup in relationship to the head of the femur and should heal in 12 weeks.

Hopefully improvemen: Those surgeries are generally done to improve a malalignment of the leg, and so hopefully the surgery will dramatically improve your alignment issues.  In terms of the surgical recovery itself, it is similar to surgeries that we do for a broken leg where there is a gradual improvement of soreness over 10-14  days and a restriction in weight bearing 6-12 weeks based upon more specifics.
