i have big ulcer very back in my mouth what is the reason for that?

Aphthous Ulcer: Common ulcer of idiopathic cause.  Although associated with abnormal monocyte function.  Treated with the following:  Lidocaine or numbing gel, clening agent like salt water, and steroid solution.

i always get ulcers in my mouth, i use sm-33 but it doesn't work. they seem to go for about 2 weeks but then come back. it's really painful?

Difficult to treat..: Mouth ulcers, also called apthous stomatitis for the most part are poorly understood. There are some systemic illnesses that have these as characteristic features (behcet's, crohns, lupus, and others). Sm-33 is one product made by Bayer (aspirin) for relief of these often painful lesions. I suggest to patients to use a warm salty rinse multiple times daily and consider if increased life stress plays a role.

Depends: That depends on the source of an ulcer. Oral herpes can be provoked and recur.

Ulcers: I am presuming that what you are describing are viral in origin.  Sometimes they are referred to as aphthous ulcers.  They come out anytime.  For reassurance, have it looked at by your physician.

Ulcer: If it is an ulcer they usually take 7-10 days to resolve and treating the symptoms with orabase or peroxyl rinse. If it persists beyond that time you should have it chekced out by your dentist or oral surgeon to make sure it is just an ulcer.

Tough question: "Red bumps' is not a diagnosis.  A professional has to actually examine you to determine the cause of the red bumps, and then advise you as to treatment.  See you General Dentist or an Oral Surgeon to begin the diagnostic process.

what's the difference between mouth ulcer or cold sore on the back of my lip?

Lip bubble: A raised area on the inside of your lip that is clear looking and bubble like is most commonly an obstructed minor saliva gland duct. This occurs from food abrasion and eating trauma to the lip. When crushed the duct can no longer release fluid to the mouth. The fluid backs up and creates the bubble appearance. If small no treatment is needed. Larger ones, 4mm, or more do.

Ulcers: Should clear in about 10 days to 2 weeks from outbreak.  Try dabbing Orabase -B or Ambesol onto sore spots.  If not completely gone in 2 weeks please see your Dentist.

last question. if i tested negative for stds including hiv at 39 and 46 days, should i be concerned that i suddenly formed a mouth ulcer last night? going back to obgyn today?

: Herpes virus is not usually checked when doing STD screen unless requested specifically, however it could be sexually transmitted and it is one of causes of mouth ulcer. The virus is the one that causes cold sores.
