Lumps "that count" (dominant masses) tend to be distinct from normal breast tissue.  They may be fluid-filled (cysts) or solid (tumors)--this can be differentiated by ultrasound.  Tumors may be benign or malignant--this can be differentiated by biopsy.

Depends: There are many different reasons breast lumps form.  When you are in your teens and twenties the majority of causes are benign. If a lump has been stable for many years with no changes u may be able to watch.  If not, biopsy.

At 32 your risk for something bad is low.  Have a doctor examine you and obtain your family history.  Often a simple needle bx will reassure you that the lumps are nothin.

Nodular: Breast lumps are commonly distinct from the tissue they arise in.  You can always compare the feeling of a similar area on the same breast or the other breast so see if it is different.  They usually have "soft" edges so can easily slip from the fingers.  Any abnormality should be seen by your doctor.

Important: Most breast cysts are benign, however some can mask other problems so they need to be monitored to asses for changes. Solid lumps likewise are largely benign, but they are more likely than cysts to develop into something more worrisome

Not sure,: craggy is not a standard descriptor.  However, if the lump is hard and irregular it is more suspicious for cancer.
