YES: Tylenol or "acetaminophen"  is generally considered "safe" when used by people with stomach ulcers..HOWEVER follow instructions on the package and discontinue if you develop stomach distress!

i have a persistent/daily migraine, displaced from an exposed root canal on one of my teeth. i also have a stomach ulcer and dont know what pain medication to take without upsetting the ulcer. gp advised me, no brufen, no tylenol. what can i take?

Ulcer: From a study from the American Journal of Epidemiology the use of NSAID (Ibupofen) and aspirin were associated with increased risk of recurrent bleeding ulcers in a population of patients, but not acetaminophen.  Given your tooth pain acetaminophen reasonable to take for pain. Given tooth pain topical benzocaine or benadryl can help relieve tooth pain and lessen need for oral agent.

Ask Your Surgeon: Because you had a surgery for a significant problem and now have some lingering pain best to follow up with the surgeon.
I would use the Aleve only under a doctors recommendation. It can cause stomach upset and even  a GI Bleed. Don't be in pain call that doctor up now.

Rare: Anaphylaxis to Tylenol (acetaminophen) is very rare but there are case reports. I recommend seeing a board-certified allergist for further evaluation.

Ask Dentist: Antibiotic to limit spread of infection may be in order.  Another choice would be to see an Endodontist or Oral Surgeon now.

Possibly: if the ingestion was within 4-6 hours, yes yo lavage.  Otherwise, blood tests, measure levels, get liver function tests, consider IV treatment

Colon cancer: I would advocate having the procedure done as soon as technically possible 
waiting weeks is generally ok but not months , unless the delay is to undergo neoadjuvant therapy.

Ulcers.: You can   take Acetaminophen for pain and fever.You should not take advil, (ibuprofen) Aspirin and ibuporfen when you have ulcer problem.
