ive just had a mini tummy tuck with lipo of flanks. im 10 days post operation. when i sit my lower belly now makes a roll of fat over the incision and the incision tucks in. othis normal due to swelling? will it go down to make a flat belly?

Infection : Infection rates after mini tummy tucks (witch hazel) are less than 1%. Appropriate perioperative antibiotics, good nutrition and surgical technique all contribute to a low infection rate. If you are taking immunosuppressant meds, you will want to review your plans with the doctor who prescribed them as well as your board certified plastic surgeon to be safe.

my csection incision smells but no redness,infection or opening and its been a month but my tummy lays over the scar which is low what's the reason?

Air: If your abdomen lies over your c-section incision, the area can't get air and stays warm and moist leading to the growth of skin bacteria. It may not cause an infection in the scar because the skin has healed enough that they don't get in but the anaerobic bacteria that grow in places that are warm, moist and low on oxygen tend to stink.

is it normal for surgical incision to have a pink border 2wks post op?  7in lower abdominal, steri strips after staples. no  other signs of infection.

Possibly.: What you describe may be related to a reaction to the steri strips ( adhesive) after removal of the tape. Clinical evaluation (your surgeon) will be necessary to provide you with definitive advice and/or reassurance.

Redness belly button: Redness in the area of an incision is normal. THis can be due to stitches which are in the skin. If there is swelling and increased pain then one may think infection.

i got an infection in belly button incision after surgery. am taking 2000 mg of keflex. when should it start getting better?

Keflex: Depending on how significant the infection is will determined how quickly the resolution of the infection.  One could expect an improvement after a few days or so.  After a surgery you will have swelling and pain.  Give it time.  More than likely you may see an improvement  starting in 3 days or so.

i had a laparoscopic surgery 2 weeks ago and my belly button incision hasn't healed, it is white but no infection. what should i do for it to heal?

Don't worry: Will heal in wk or so , just wash with soap and water and place a dry dressing  and call your surgeon for a follow up visit , you will be fine.

i had a lap 4weeks ago almost and today my belly button smells awful and behind where it's still closed it's oozing pus. i noticed glue was still in i picked some off and it looked better but since it's deep could this be more than incision infection?
