i would like to do a tubal reversal. i was inserted the falope ring. no cut no burn. is there anyway i can get a reversal? and how much? i am 37.

Tubal ligation ?'s: Fallop ring sterilization done "6 years ago" effectively destroys the segment of the tube where the ring is placed, by cutting off its blood supply.  Although this type of tubal ligation can be reversed, it is very unlikely to permit pregnancy even if it does "fall off".

Lowest in general: The failure rate of a tubal ligation is the lowest of all birth control methods. Having said that in the CREST study African American women had higher failure rates that non AA women, and younger women (under the age of 27) had a more than 20 fold higher failure rate than women over 35 y/o.

Excellent ?: Because the tubes are more vascular and even though most  docs cut tie and burn them they have more a chance ( even though they shoudn't to recannulate), so in my patients even though I have never had a tubal failure at the time of csection, I have them come back after their 6 week post aprtum check up and they can have a 5 minute office tubal by adiana or essure which is easy to do.

Yes: Tubal reversals can be done successfully. The success rates depends on what type of tubal ligation you had in the first place. Your surgeon will want to review the notes from your original surgery if possible to plan the reversal. Some couples choose to do in vitro fertilization instead of a tubal reversal to get pregnant which is more expensive but has a higher success rate.

Yes: Yes, nurses are qualified to be trained to administer tube feedings. There are many different formulations of nutrition solutions as well as routes of tube feeding -for example a tube placed in the stomach vs small intestine, vs through the nose. Some feeding regimens also require use of an "IV" type pump, which nurses can be trained to deliver.

No: I am assuming you are asking : how to prevent tubal pregnancy. 
Some times endometriosis can cause some scar tissue around the fallopian tube and prevent smooth traveling/ passing of egg into the uterus and then tubal pregnancy occurs. Prenatal/ pre pregnancy exam with your OB is a very good thing to do.

Maybe, maybe not: Surgery to re-tie your tubes probably could be done, but many doctors would hesitate when a patient goes back and forth on such an important decision. Consider other foolproof contraception like IUD or hormone implant (so you don't have to remember to take pills) for 2-3 years. If you still want your tubes re-tied, more doctors might agree. Discuss with Gyn or maybe a Planned Parenthood clinic.

Accepted Answer

No clamps: If you are referring to a tubal ligation, no clamps are left inside of the pelvis. The Fallopian tubes are first clamped, then cut and cauterized. I am not sure why you think clamps were left inside of you?
