: All medical tests have false negative result, i.e. you have the disease but test result is negative. Any test for HIV antibody after one year of exposure can be used but the negative result does not rule out the infection 100% because of false negative result, i.e. sensitivity is not 100%. However, if you do not have any suspected symptoms or signs and the tridot test is (-), you are safe.

: It is not clear what test you did. It would be useful to see a doctor and get a 4th gen combo test. Please note that HIV is only one of the STDs and it would be useful to get examined and tested to rule out other STDs.

So window period is 2-3mo assuming no unsafe sex during that time.
