why do i have tremor after waking up in the morning? it's happened for the past few days, but has never happened before that.

I see you're on...: .....methylphenidate. Since I don't have a description of the tremors it's hard to envision what's happening when you wake up. But if it's something brand new over past 3 days then, by looking at your medication list I would hazard a guess or 2 by saying, could be your medications...could be stress....could be low blood sugar...could be low blood pressure. Those are my shots..got more information?

Depends on involveme: This depends on your  involvement of each of these  diagnoses. These  two diagnoses  may not have  anything to do with your  symptoms. You need to discuss this with your physicians. The leg  tremors  may be benign fasiculations of the muscles. You will need  to know if there is any neurologic  involvement, any medical involvement. Your  rheumatologist can also clarify this related  to the Sjogren'

: Typically, a tremor occurs in a muscle, usually when that muscle is fatigued. Try to identify which muscle or muscle group is involved and then think about your neck position when sleeping Make some changes even if you cant identify the cause, i.e. a different pillow or sleeping position. Heed your neurologist and quell your anxiety by becoming an active investigator. Caffeine? Stress? old injury?

i take xanax for panic off on for years .25, only take when needed, took it the first time in a year, it worked but when i went to sleep kept waking up in sweats, tremors w/ anxiety. can my body change my reaction, i never responded like this before?

: Sounds like a paradoxical reaction, and your doctor needs to know.  Not clear as to true benefit of the Xanax you currently possess, and would not use again until cleared by your doctor.

is ankle clonus in a almost 4 yr old abnormal? can only be elicited when asleep. about 15 beats left foot, 0-4 right foot, and wrists. not always able to elicit. also has tremor like movements of whole body on and off during sleep and when waking up?

: The clonus should be further evaluated. Multiple areas may indicate a Neurologic condition. Blood sugar and metallic testing can provide additional information. A few beats controlled by touch is usually not abnormal. A few shudders during sleep is common, but a video of the movement would help to determine the next step in his management.
