You need more tests: LH/FSH ratio, Insulin level will help to decide.  If so, metformin will help you

Yes: A cyst that has not resolved in 6 months is abnormal.  A cyst that is 9 cm across is very abnormal.  Removal is really the only option, other than doing nothing.

Fibroids are benign smooth muscle growths (tumors) that can cause symptoms, and if near the inner uterine lining , can have a negative effect on fertility or increase miscarriage rates.

Please discuss your concerns and these findings with your ob/gyn.

It also is important what type of cyst you have.  A cyst filled with water is almost always benign. Solid cysts need a doctors evaluation.
