Anti-inflammatory: A pulled muscle is certainly a possibility, especially at your age, and would be more tender between the ribs.  A bruised rib would be more tender directly on the involved rib.  Try an oral anti-inflammatory (ibuprofen - aka Motrin or advil, or naproxyn - aleve) for a week or two, and see a physician if symptoms persist.

Either: Cold/ice applied for 15-20 minutes can reduce pain and inflammation and is usually my preferred form of "modality" treatment. Heat, can reduce spasm, but spasm is often a secondary response to injured or inflamed tissue. Heat often feels better during application, but symptoms often do not improve as the heat can promote continued inflammation.

i have a lower back pain and front and back ribs pain with strain at bak...stiff back muscle...what are the possible reasons and treatment for that?

Muscle: At your age it's more likely muscle related.  Have you been more physically active than usual recently?  It would be reasonable to treat conservatively with time and nsaids.  See a physician if symptoms persist or are severe.

cause? should i be concerned? treatment? off and on chest pain into.back.  muscle/joint pain. not sob. heart tests all ok?

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests.  What you described is consistent with pulmonary tuberculosis, not necessarily active disease. It would be prudent to see a doctor, preferably a chest specialist/pulmonologist.

posture has really screwed up my rib cage and i can't breathe properly. i'm having reflux issues and muscle problems. physical therapy isn't working.

Multi-modal approach: It sounds like you have more than one issue and thus your treatment ought to include more than just pt.  You may want to see a physiatrist who can assess both your posture, spine, biomechanics, and function. Additionally, it appears that you have pulmonary issues for which your pmd or pulmonologist can optimize treatment. Pt is helpful but not as an isolated treatment for your conditions.

Physical therapy: Ice, rest are the first measures to take in case of a pulled (torn) chest muscle. Taking an antiinflammatory medication, such as ibuprofen/naproxen may be helpful to alleviated pain/discomfort. Physical therapy should be delayed until it is tolerable. The physical therapist will decide on the techniques to be used. It could be heat/cold applications, ultrasound stimulation, tens unit etc.

Muscle pull : Your supposition needs to be questioned. Is this a pulled muscle?  Muscle pain can come from muscle strains, nerve problems, muscle disease, or metabolic problems. See a doctor in person for the answer

RICE: Rest, ice, compression(ace bandage), elevation .(if swollen). Some prefer to alternate heat and cold every 20 minutes  if that works better over the acute phase

Muscle crsmp: Best treatment is a gradual stretching program.

i know for sure my muscles have been torn and pulled from my shoulder bone completely off !  what's the  treatment for this?

Ext. unlikely: You are young and know your body better than anyone ; however if your pain/ impairment continue i would suggest seeing an ors ( orthopedic surgeon)... Sometimes other diagnoses ( shoulder instability ) are more common.Good luck !
