Scar tissue: It depends if the scar tissue is superficial or deep then treatments may differ and are poorly studied.  The most common treatments for hypertrophic Superficial scarring are covering with silicone, steroid injections or pressure treatments.  Results may vary and each treatment needs to be followed through in its entirety.

Depends on what: It depends on what scar you are  trying to decrease. If  it is  post op you have to wait until there is healing or you can rupture the scar  and/or whatever was operated on.

No: Not that i know of and it is not sensible from clinical standpoint. Therefore, i think the answer is no.

Yes: Radiation can be used to treat keloids.  It is most commonly done right after (i.e. The same day) as the surgical removal of the keloid.

Tough question: Hypertrophic scars are hard to treat. May need to see a plastic surgeon to get a better perspective on your alternatives. 5th toes take a lot of sheering forces in the shoes.

Reassuure/mederma: Be reassured it will clear out in time , if need to hurry it up, consider Mederma which will minimize it.

tkr 3 months ago and formed severe scar tissue. range of motion 87 @ 8 weeks. manipulation did not work. now 100 @ 13 weeks with spa therapy. should i have scar tissue removed now?

No: If you have progressed from 87 to 100 degrees of rom, you are doing well! this is something that you are going to have to continue to work at and gain flexibility with over a period of months. Be patient, yet vigilant with your exercises. Any consideration of scar tissue removal may occur at 1 year, but probably not even at that time. Continue to do what you're doing, because it's working.

Wurn technique: The fact that their claims are testimonial-based and they treat conditions that are likely to self-cure invites an obvious conclusion. The claims do not make sense physiologically and I would urge you to review and "natural" treatment for such health problems with a scientific, evidence-based practitioner who is required by law to be straight-up. Yes!: Physical therapy, massage therapy and exercise can break up scar tissue after breast reconstruction. Scarring is a natural part of the recovery after any surgery or injury. Breaking up scar tissue by stretching it or massaging it will improve your mobility and should decrease pain.
