Medicines that help to stabilize the hormones of teenagers and of peri menopausal women have the same mechanism and can be considered. Excessive oil can lead to acne  and may be diet related. Blackheads can result from constricted pores with dirt present and can be diminished by warmth when cleansing. Scarring increases  with  inflammation.
