Depends on orthopedi: Often they specialize into hands or knee. It is hard to be clearer but they both should be able to advise on either. I would tend to talk to the knee specialist first and see if they advise that you might see a hand specialist

Head trauma: An external force is applied to the head that causes injury to the skull, face, and brain. In a car accident the force can be acceleration-deceleration. Or the force can be external such as being hit by someone. Or a myriad of other injurious causes.

Rewarding: I am not an ICU trauma nurse, but the ones i know are very intelligent, kind, compassionate, hard working individuals who I am sure feel rewarded each day after providing good quality care to ailing patients.

Generally NO: Amblyopia is usually a developmental problem however if an eye injury is bad enough to change the vision in a young child and a clear image is not restored then amblyopia may result.

Just that!!: There is a relationship between repeated bouts of head trauma and dementia sometimes progressive boxing is a good example.

Ice: Will arrest or mean less swelling from tissue edema.

Head trauma, yes: If you mean physical trauma, like a brain injury, the answer is clearly yes.  To the best of my knowledge, psychological or emotional trauma cannot cause dementia.

Yes: History of traumatic brain injury is often seen in ptsd patients. Symptoms include flashbacks.

Not unusual: It is not unusual to feel nauseated or have a headache after head trauma, however make sure you get checked and get head ct, subdural hematomas can cause vague symptoms for prolonged time until they kill you.

The usual.: Horse, bike, motorcycle, fighting, skateboarding, football, rugby, soccer, lacrosse, ladder, vigorous sex, angry female.
