Dengue bleeding risk: The main reason to get checked for dengue is the bleeding risk-- as platelet counts (the sticky things in blood that keep u from bleeding) can drop dramatically. When this happens, the patient can start bleeding which could be catastrophic. The test is very easy-- tourniquet test and I'm sure any doctor there will know how to check u. Then, please get a platelet count and do what the doc tells u.

Dengue: PCR &amp; Antibody tests (IgM &amp; IgG). Dengue Virus 
can prevent a human body from making new platelets.   Platelets usually last about four days &amp; then are replaced by the body. But wi Dengue the platelets aren't replaced &amp; so the Platelet count can drop. A normal platelet count is about 1.5 to 4 lakhs/cu mm. Platelet count below 1 Lakh  needs medical intervention.

Need more info: If these were antibody levels she may not be infected and these may have occurred earlier in life. You do not indicate whether she is ill at all or has other symptoms.
