Try Accuvue Oasis: There probably isn't a single ctl that is good for someone with dry eyes. No matter how oxygen permeable or hydrophilic (water loving) a lens is, it still may irritate your eyes if they are dry. I recommend you see an ophthalmologist to see why your eyes are dry. If you dry eye condition is treated appropriately, you may be able to wear ctls more comfortably.

No: The membrane that covered the white part of the eye extends up under the eyelid and then returns down as the inner lining of the eyelid.  As such it creates a pocket up under the lid that will prevent a contact lens from going behind your eye.  A contact lens can get stuck up in this fornix but it can be removed.

Not a good idea: Redness is a sign of a problem.  As a general rule, anytime your eye is red, the first that you need to do is to take the contact lens out. There is strong likelihood that the redness is due to the contacts and keeping it in will only aggravate the situation (although your eye may feel better wearing the contacts).  See your eye md for an evaluation.

Trial and error: If you do not know, put them in and check your vision.  If it is not clear,  reverse them and try again.

Most contacts have no identifying marks on them.

Impossible: Contact lenses cannot get behind eyes.  They can get stuck under the upper lid.  Try flushing your eyes with a stream of water or eye wash.  If this fails to dislodge the contact lens, then see your eye doctor.
