See yout doctor: This problem can only be solved by seeing your doctor and being evaluated face-to-face. After a thorough examination, your doctor should be able to tell you what's wrong and what to do about it.

Try this: If the contact lens can be seen on your eye, you could put several drops of artificial tears to try to wash it out. If you cannot see it, do not go fishing for it. If your eye is not painful, you can wait for a day or two to see your doctor. If it hurts, call your eye doctor.
