Yes and no: Benzamycine is actually 2 medicines - benzoyl peroxide and erythromycin.None of the strains of the bacteria that cause acne have become resistant to benzoyl peroxide yet, so that is still good to go. However, some strains are erythromycin resistant, so that part of it may need to be changed. Other combo products, like Benzaclin (clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide) (benzoyl peroxide and clindamycin) may work.Talk to your dermatologist

Hence, pro-active is a hot selling item!

Pitted scars require laser resurfacing.

The : The combination of Clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide is commonly used in several acne prescriptions.  It is a good combination to reduce the bacteria counts and prevent possible bacteria resistance.  Studies show that adding Clindamycin to benzoyl peroxide helps acne improve better than benzoyl peroxide alone.  However, if you are noticing deeper bumps on your skin, you make also need to consider an oral antibiotic.
