Water intake: It is not a good idea to severely restrict water intake while on acyclovir or most other medications..Inducing dehydration adversely affects your body's metabolism of medications.

Mortality : A recent cdc report shows prescription opiate abuse as the number one cause of death in us in adolescents and young adults. Other than death, dependency leads to drug seeking, theft, poor nutrition, sleep disruption, poor academics, loss of work, legal problems, dui, loss of family and friends. Couldn't find a worse thing to do.

Not much: There is not much else to choose from but some side effects are not true side effects -- please discuss this with your doctor or get a second opinion.

Not really: All medications used after an ischemic stroke (cholesterol plaque rupture causing an interruption in blood flow) are treated with blood thinners. Some people are more sensitive to certain ones, so if you've had a GI bleed while on Plavix (clopidogrel), (clopidogrel) then talk to your neurologist. Plavix (clopidogrel) is usually the best, but start with aspirin 182 mg daily. If you still have strokes, then Aggrenox is the next step up.

Avoid if possible: We know the oral use causes birth defects. The topical appears safer, but seriously, unless the problem you are treating is extreme, i would avoid it.

Treatment: Luvigen is a daily pill containing three medications to treat diagnosed HIV infection. It contains Dolutegravir 50mg, Lamivudine 300mg and Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate 300mg.

Likely no: Music invokes feelings and emotions, moreso for some people depending on the music.  This is typically a good thing so would not count there being any negative adverse effects -- unless there are uncomfortable shoes involved.

Some things....: It is important to take some breaks to walk around, stretch and get nourishment. Otherwise you may get muscle tightness in your neck and upper back and even your legs. This could lead to headache and in very rare circumstances blood clots in the legs (although highly doubtful within 8 hrs.

after 7 years of seizure medication, i'm told it's not seizures at all so i was taking it for nothing. what are the adverse effects from this?

Keep a level head: You need to be sure of the diagnosis. Sometimes it helps to get a second or even third opinion.  If you do not require seizure meds and you are on one of the newer ones, chances are you will have had any significant set back other than perhaps financial if you had to pay much out of pocket for the meds. Its a good idea even with the newer medications to have your vitamin d level and folate checked.

Yes: But please sit down with your pharmacist who can provide medication education to you for that particular medication.
