After 7 years of seizure medication, i'm told it's not seizures at all so i was taking it for nothing. what are the adverse effects from this?

Keep a level head: You need to be sure of the diagnosis. Sometimes it helps to get a second or even third opinion. If you do not require seizure meds and you are on one of the newer ones, chances are you will have had any significant set back other than perhaps financial if you had to pay much out of pocket for the meds. Its a good idea even with the newer medications to have your vitamin d level and folate checked.
