Call: It's always best to  call the dentist (or physician) actually treating you for advice. Having said that, until then, avoid eating on that tooth, especially hard foods. Also keep that area especially clean so food debris does not collect in the hole.

Benzos: These days, it would probably be ativan, klonopin, and xanax (alprazolam).  "back in the day" others like valium and Librium might have been more commonly used; Dalmane also.  Halcion and Midazolam certainly have their uses as well. While there can certainly be therapeutic benefits,  i've also seen every one of these misused at times..

Top mouth rinses: Top in sales, effectiveness or ?  There are so many on the market and they all have different ingredients and indications. In general, they are not even an essential part of good oral hygiene. Ask your own dentist to recommend the right one for you based upon your specific circumstances and needs.

Trapezius: Pain along the top of your shoulders and toward the neck suggests irritation of the top edge of the trapezius muscles. You stress those muscles when you lift weight from below in a rowing motion. It's not necessarily bad if it's from exercise. Try a warm, damp towel around the back of your neck and over your shoulders. Also Acetaminophen or aspirin. If worsening see doctor.
