Stool: Black stool could be from something you ate. However it could also be blood that has come from your upper GI tract. See your doctor and get a definitive diagnosis. Good Luck

Two answers.: Short term- use bisacodyl, enema or manual disimpaction.

Long term-need explanation for this and prevention of further episodes. Drink plenty of fluids and eat plenty of fruits and veggies.

Simple,short nd safe: Assuming no other medical issues i would have a bowl of oatmeal with coffee then go for a walk;works great for senors. If that does not solve the constipation try some stewed prunes or just prunes out of the bag. These are simple and safe. If this is a consistent problem see your md, check your diet and possibly see a nutritionist.

my husband was diagnosed w/ gallbladder polyps & stones.he passed out green&black feces after drinking olive oil & lemon juice.were that stones?

Not gallstones: The combination of olive oil, lemon juice, and digestive enzymes in our gut creates "soap stones"; these are not gallstones. There is medication, however, that can sometimes dissolve stones.However, it is an ineffective alternative to surgery--the gb is a "gallstone factory"--new stones will form within a few years. Lastly, a polyp can be pre-malignant: if &gt; 1 cm, the gallbladder should be removed.

It is worthless: Lemon juice has no benefit in lowering serum uric acid levels. If you have gout, you need to be on allopurinol. If you have no gout history then you generally do not have to do anything.

No benifit: If someone were to believe in this concoction it may help them relax. However, it would have no direct effect on the mechanical triggers to an asthma attack.

No: The common causes of elevated SGPT are alcohol intake, hepatitis, medication side effects and obesity. Lemon juice is not a treatment for any of these and the only way it would reduce SGPT is if it replaces alcohol in a person who drinks and alcohol caused SGPT elevation.
