Chorea: Chorea is dance like movement of the arms and trunk.  Many movement disorders can be associated with this symptom.  Certain medications can also cause these symptoms, especially the ones you are describing in the tongue, which may represent tardive dyskinesia.

MOVEMENT DISORDER: This needs careful evaluation and diagnosis.  You may be experiencing a reaction from prior medications, such as tardive dyskinesia, but you may be developing a new problem such as myoclonus, or choreoathetotic issues.  See a neurologist and get this pin-pointed.

No: Sounds like tardive dyskinesia to me. It could get worse. In my experience the benefits of the offending drug have to be WAY greater than the risks to consider continuing it. You need to confer with the doctor who is prescribing the drug &amp; go over all of the risks &amp; benefits of Seroquel (quetiapine) which also include metabolic, cardiovascular &amp; an epidemiological increased risk of death in elderly users.

This is complex: You need expert help, unless you have unusual neurological expertise, you will not figure out how to manage this, and it is far safer to see a neurologist ASAP.  You could have epilepsy with focal seizures, or even a movement disorder, and these issues require very specific directions.

Some causes: Hereditary dystonia, Tourette's, myoclonic jerks and myoclonic epilepsy, Parkinson's, Huntington's, post-traumatic reactions, tardive dykinesia, medication reactions.

Some possible causes: Sudden weakness and involuntary movements could be caused by drug side effects, a stroke, a TIA. a seizure, MS, or an injury to the head.

It would help to know if the symptoms affected both sides of the body or not.  It would also help to know if the symptoms recur and how long they last.

DX. not met: Tourrete's Dsorder requires the presence of two or more motor tics with an associated vocal tic.  Blinking and involuntary movements may indictations of a number of other disorders.
