extreme skin dryness : body and foot?

Avoid over-washing: Doctor should examine. Daily moisturizers (Cetaphil, CeraVe, Eucerin,...) used 2-4 times a day help to heal dry skin and to prevent return of dry rashes. Some people avoid creams with lanolin, aloe, or fragrances because they are sensitive to the ingredients. If skin is a bit reddened, is getting itchier, or is roughed up by scratching, doctor may recommend adding hydrocortisone cream for a week.

i'm experiencing blackening of skin and dryness of akin around the ankle and foot with no pain. what could be the problem and treatment?

Rubbing: Be sure your shoes are not rubbing, do you have swelling maybe that can cause dark discoloration.  Did you bump the area that could cause a slight bruising.  It is difficult to say without seeing it.  When it gets wet does it look better?  If continues I would get it checked out.

Lack of motion : usually motion will help circulation and with cp the motion is limited and the you get more pooling of blood and they will effect the size and color of the area. I recommend that you see a foot doctor for possible compression sock after arterial Doppler that's is within normal limit

: I would hope that you were given follow up instructions from the doctor who removed the toenail. If not, call their office asap and ask the doctor what to expect and when to follow up.

how can i remove a gauze stuck to my wound?
i had to have my whole toenail taken off and when i tried changing the dressing the gauze wouldnt come off. its stuck to it completely, weve tried soaking it and that doesnt work. what should i do?

Soak 15 min : If you soak it in the lukewarm water with epsom salt for 15 minutes , it should come out. If not, please go to see the surgeon. Good luck.

i had my big toenail permanently removed and its fully healed but it healed to look like a toenail it looks so much like a toenail i have to tell doctors it not i know its not a toenail as it healed like this and it doesnt grow but is that normal?

: If the nail has not grown back then the nail bed , which is what remains, can have hard skin looking like a nail. You can try creams. See a podiatrist if continue concerns

0_o: It can mean multiple things, from trauma, to mycotic nails, to many many more.  If painful or new please go see a podiatrist or dermatologist.

Sounds like fungis: Keep in mind... The fda has recently come out with a blanket statement that toenail fungus can not be cured.  It is "managed" by a number of modalities, but it can always come back in the future.
