No : I am not aware of any implants for loss of a single toe.

No: The idead of an implant is to reduce pain and function and to allow normal walking.
But it will take time post op to return to normal walking.

Depends: Any surgery especially to the big toe has its advantages and disadvantages.,,with the implant ur doctor should discuss longevity of an implant and loss of toe purchase power... I prefer Cheilectomy or fusion...implants have there place but it depends on patient expectations ...

Yes: Assess the motion u have  before implant surgery... U may have a little more after surgery or have some loss... An implant is basically a joint spacer... The surgeon may decompress the joint by removing additional bone from the base of the 1st toe to help increase motion but this can cause instability of the joint...I perform implant surgery but am very selective on who receives one...

: Definitely not! Call your surgeon today to report this new swelling. It may be caused by a blood clot, and that IS serious. Call now!

: I doubt any physicians on this panel could answer such a highly technical question. I would start by consulting a hand surgeon, probably at a university hospital,  who could answer your questions or point you in the right direction.

: Follow your Drs suggestions. Get tested for inherited problems  with blood clotting if you have had problems before.  If you smoke stop. Ask if you have a problem with atherosclerosis in arteries in legs.

severe itching on the top of my toe(s). what should i do?

Depends...: ...On what's causing it. (it's probably not athlete's foot, if that's what you were thinking.) you could be allergic to some component of your shoes or socks, or the itching could be a harbinger of an internal problem. See a dermatologist.

Need an xray.: Apply ice, keep foot end elevated, get xray done of the big toe to rule out fracture -big toe bones ,take ibuprofen or naproxen if you have no allergies for pain and consult bone specialist-orthopedician.

if you have 5 day ivf transfer & it implants say 2 days later.  would the measurements of gest sac reflect 5dt date or the implant date on u/s scan.

Possible: Its possible but all these measurements by imaging including ultrasound are relative not 100% exact.
