Dislocated: You have may dislocated your jaw if the pain has not gone away. The jaw a joint where 1 of the bones may pop out of place. It may pop back in itself when you open your mouth and the pain will go away (may still be a little sore but not painful). If your jaw will not stop hurting, see your doctor or dentist and they can put it back in place for you to relieve the pain.

i have a cross bite, but treatment was purely cosmetic. random popping/pain in jaw when laughing, eating, etc my mouth gets stuck open at times. help?

TMD: Avoid eating hard foods; apply moist heat to outside of face just in front of ears; if you can take some Aleve or Ibuprofen; try to reduce stress in your life. For longer term solution see a dentist with experience and training treating patients with TMD/TMJoint pain. Sometimes a night guard helps.

i have a lot of symptoms had an mri 2 yrs ago- only a couple white lesions found and neuro was unconcerned.. symptoms are
ear aches
burning mouth
all over body fasiculations
visual disturbances
jaw pain, tooth pain
sensitive to light and sound

Repeat MRI: What you are describing are not usual complaints. The MRI (of the brain) should be repeated with either contrast or special sequecing and compared with the previous MRI to look for any change in the findings. If there is no significant changes you should still be seen by an appropriately trained provider for an appropriate evaluation and history including a diet and possible exposure history.

While there is no recognized specialty in Dentistry called TMJ, many general and specialist Dentist's have expertise in treating the jaw joints and associated tissues.  Start with your General Dentist who may offer you treatment or refer you to a colleague.  Help is available.

Yes: Tmj will cause popping sounds and a deviation of the jaw upon opening and closing. Check with your dentist you will most likely need a bite guard.
No to the second part of your question.  Tmj does not cause hearing loss.  
I have had patients with some hearing loss from tmj, but it is corrected with a bite guard.

hey, i'm 18 years old. i'm suffering from jaw pain and popping since 6 years. it locks often and i taste blood from it, the pain is all around my face and teeth. the blood comes from an unknown spot. not teeth or gums. what's causing it? thanks?

: A dental examination is recommended. Watch for signs of dental and gum disease. The jaw pain is possibly related to inflammation of the joints. Treatment with an NSAID is often effective.
