24 yo male, ive noticed the tip of my tongue will twitch. its dry/raw especially after using listerine.  panicked that its a sign of als or ms?

Tongue twitch: Probably muscle spasm. Stop the Listerine. May be irritant. Can rinse with half tsp salt or baking soda in 8oz of lukewarm water.

when i press my tongue hard against the roof of my mouth the tip of my tongue will twitch/spasm. its not every time but most of them time. im 24 and scared it could be als? is it a symptom? im also a very anxious person. particularly with health.

Tongue spasm: it's not ALS or any disease process - go see your doctor and get complete physical exam to make sure you are healthy, though

The tongue is a muscle and it could just be tired from the xtra exercise it is getting. It is best to have a doctor or a dentist look at it and assess the condition of the tongue, and you may need a scan or so.

had emg of left arm and right leg yesterday, showed no abnormalities.i been twitching for 4 years. would emg have shown anything if i had bulbar als. the twitch is on the tip of tongue and happens after flexed or touched.blood work, thyroid normal. ?

Wait about 3 to 7 days .If symptoms resolve , it was a vitamin deficiency.If they don't resolve the rinse with benedryl for 3 min 3 x's a day. If still no resolution go and seek a dentist highly trained in oral medicine.
