Lymph node : Most likely a lymph node which was inflamed initially, could be something else as well, like a lipoma , cyst etc plz make sure with your doctor .

Sebaceous Cyst: Sounds like a sebaceous cyst.  These are very common and of no cause to worry.   Generally they do not require medical treatment unless they become unsightly, painful or infected.  Treatment options include surgical excision.

Have it checked out: Sounds like a small lymph node, which for a 19 year old is most likely completely normal.

However, if you are having other symptoms and are concerned for a cancerous process, have it checked out.  The bump may or may not be related to your other symptoms.

i have 5-7 lumps on my neck, behind ear, spine. they start out like a small hard lump or large lump and scab over. im 22. is this cancer? it dont hurt

Possibly infection: If the lesions end up with scabs it sounds more likely that these lumps are infection such as a boil or abscess. However, I tend to be conservative and the lumps should be evaluated and if necessary a biopsy may be taken or if there is discharge then a culture could be taken.  See a medical provider. Good luck

Lipoma: Lipomas, a fatty tumor are common in this location as well as a few other tumors.  Has the lump been present for some time or rapidly developing recently?  If rapid, get an evaluation by an ENT specialist fairly soon.  If it has been there for some time, you can probably ignore it if it does not bother you and is not changing.

Hopefully: It will resolve without intevention. You may have a  swollen lymph node or cyst that may or maynot be infected. If it doesn't resolve - get it checked.

Either or see a doc: it could be either a lymph node and that will explain the tenderness  and mass effect
it could be an oil gland cyst what is called sebaceous cyst that could get hard like a solid mass and it could get infected and turn to abscess like structure
either way you need to see your doctor for evaluation and proper treatment at least with antibiotic before the infection spread

Lump behind ear: Lumps behind the ear are common. Oftentimes, these are lymph glands. As you describe it, it may happen to be a cyst. Please bring her to the pediatrician for diagnosis.

See below: I would certainly get that checked sooner than later.  Could be infectious, could also be a malignancy.   Any recent illness?  Cat scratch or something similar?  Any other symptoms?
