: Because this is such a localized &amp; repetitive symptom,I'd be thinking more of a positional nerve impingement problem in the nerve or wrist rather than MS which usually has scattered neurological symptoms. A neurologist could evaluate and advise you.

Sounds ulnar nerve: Your symptoms highly suggest a problem with your ulnar nerve in the elbow joint itself.  It may become "stuck" or entrapped in the groove somehow.  Have you tried raising that right elbow in some other position to see if that were to change anything in terms of the feelings in your fingers. You should see a neurologist for further clarity on this problem and not really wait.

The : The ulnar nerve which supplies the pinkie and ring finger travels into the hand through a channel called guyon's canal. This is separate from the carpal tunnel. A ganglion cyst that develops near guyon's canal can compress the nerve at the level of the wrist and cause tingling. These cysts form on tendons and are pretty common at the wrist. Sometimes they are removed surgically. Other times they spontaneously pop.
It is more common for the ulnar nerve to be compressed at the elbow (funny bone).

Ulnar nerve.: Your ulnar nerve is likely superficial and gets easily irritated with pressure over the elbow or can become entrapped.  Try not to lean on elbow.  You should seek help soon from a hand surgeon.  Steroid injections may help or you may need nerve transposed surgically to a different location.  Continued symptoms can lead to hand weakness and permanent damage so get treated soon.  Best of luck.

NCV/EMG: Truth be told, there's a lot of symptom overlap amongst the compressive neuropathies of the arm.  For example, carpal tunnel syndrome can radiate symptoms up to the shoulder.  Your best bet would be getting a nerve conduction velocity with EMG.  Technically you could have both issues, and this test can elucidate that as well.

Numbness : Numbness can be related to many many issues or conditions. It is not "normal" but it is too hard to attach seriuos or not serious to that simple complaint. 
For example you can get temprary transient numbness in a hand as s sign of heart issue such as angina or a heart attack. That would be serious.
You can get numbness becaues you are sleeping or sitting in a bad position...That is not so seriuos 
go see your docor.
