Disk herniation: Your symptoms may be caused by a disk compression on your neck.
It may be worth it to have an MRI with contrast of your cervical spine to asses that possibility.
If this is confirmed there is a variety of treatments including epidural injections, physical therapy and surgery

Thorough exam: I would recommend seeing a doctor very soon - perhaps start with an urgent care.  The history you give is a little unclear but the combination of SOB, chest pain, throat tightness, lightheadedness and fatigue needs to be evaluated ASAP.  Go today.

Asthma: You will need a proper evaluation by your doctor including a chest xray & tests for asthma. Swelling in the neck on the left side may represent a prominence related to the upper segment of the left lung. May be related to symptoms of shortness of breath & not necessarily cancer. Good luck.

i am 55, female. when i lie down on my right side at night, i feel a pulsing to my neck. it doesnt seem to match with my pulse but feels more like the muscle? chronic tight neck.

Pulsing at night: Not sure if you mean feel or hear a pulse?  If you have been a smoker or had high cholesterol or BP then ask your doctor to listen to your neck for a bruit in one of the blood vessels in your right neck area caused by atherosclerosis.  Find out if anyone in your family had every had fibromuscular dysplasia of any arteries.  Discuss with your team.

Time to see a doctor: Chest tightness, chest pain, or trouble breathing are signs that she should talk with her doctor right away or go to the ER.  In adults, chest pain can be a heart problem. She should not drive herself (safer by ambulance). If it turns out not to be myocarditis, heart attack symptoms, or anxiety attack symptoms, the ER will also have checked for problems such as a collapsed lung or a pneumonia.

Troubling symptoms: Without knowing your physical and emotional history or your family's medical history anything would be a guess.  However, if you have been suffering two years, you have my sympathy.  Consult your primary care physician.  If s/he cannot help ask for a referral.  Your problem can be in multiple body systems and will require examination and tests to determine the cause(s).

: Your lungs must be relaxed enough for asthmatic wheezing to be evident. You can be 'tight' to the point an albuterol inhaler does not reverse the spasm enough for you to wheeze. See your regular doc and have lung function tests to sort out why you are still SOB.

May be anxiety, but: Sensation of tightness around throat often is muscle tension of the throat muscles caused by some underlying stress.  Sense of not getting a full breath usually hyperventilation where one takes short breaths in and out and can also be anxiety. When breathing is shallow, air does not get to the end of the lung tubes where o2 exchanges w co2; tingly lips, fingers, lightheaded?  As always, c ur doc.
