Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine, if you are under 27 years of age.

i have a prolapsed internal hemorrhoid, it is not painful anymore, i have no blood in my stools...with the right diet and water intake how long do they normally take to shrink...in my third week now...the pain stopped after a week or so so i do not think

About a week: Things should resolve in a week.  Keed hydrated and keep up with your fibre- apples are in season, and great source of fiber.

No: Usually grade 4 hemorrhoids require excision. Sclerotherapy is reserved for grade 1 or grade 2 hemorrhoids

i have 4th degree hemorrhoids that protrude from the anus & cannot be pushed back in. should i try to remove them myself?

Accepted Answer

No!: You need to see a physician to help you with your hemorrhoids.  Trying to remove them yourself could do you damage.  I'm sure you also know to keep from getting constipated by drinking plenty of fluids and eating foods with good fiber.

had rubber banding from  proctologist on 2 first degree hemorrhoids on 4/30/19. problem was internal burning.  the burning has not stopped what to do?

Consult physician: who did the banding and ask for cortisone rectal suppositories or alternative therapy.

Hemorrhoid ?'s: Whenever hemorrhoids occur, any current remedy is not going to remove pain, burning caused by hemorrhoids.  A partial remedy is to obtain lidocaine ointment, which can lessen the pain immediately prior to trying to sleep.  Your 2nd degree tear will take some time to heal completely: warm soaks (as warm as one can stand!) will help reduce swelling and pain.

3 weeks post partum. i had a 2nd degree tear and have been suffering from hemorrhoids since. is preparation h suppositories safe to take? i inserted one earlier and sinxe then i have had increased pressure on my bladder/vagina. is this related?

Call your OB MD: Your OB MD can provide a much more effective Rx for hemorrhoids than Preparation H. Placing anything in the rectum will cause increased pressure in this area post partum especially after a second degree tear.

Perianal mass: That would be an unusual color for a hemorrhoid.  While hemorrhoids are a common diagnosis, there are other conditions which could be confused for a hemorrhoid such as an abscess.  An evaluation by a general or colorectal surgeon would be recommended.
