my ear feels very clogged but i cannot remove the wax. it feels watery inside and smells weird. what's going on in there?

Earwax is ok: The body makes ear wax naturally in order to protect it from cuts and infection. Sometimes it can be inpacted by the use of q-tips or a finger it may need to be professionally removed. In the meantime you may try some over the counter war rinse and you may be able to soften it enough to rinse it out.

Doctor can recheck: One's primary care doctor can recheck to see what is causing the problem. An ear discharge that is not merely oily wax, can be from deeper in the ear, meaning the middle ear space. A discharge can also be from the canal skin (called otitis externa). The treatment may be different depending on where the discharge originates from. With persistent discharge, the doctor might do a culture test.

See doctor ASAP: It sounds like a bad infection. Given it is at the head area, it needs immediate treatment. Bring him to the ER.  By the way, gluing the ears back does not make them stay , don't ever do it again.

No as disc space : Narrowing is a sign of us aging in terms of the spine which has been demonstrated to begin as early as 10 years of age with males showing signs on x-rays at an earlier age than females with smoking accelerating these changes  as well as trauma and genetic basis.  Don't sweat over the minor pain

Otitis externa: First stop poking into your ear canals since it will only make things worse.  Second see your doctor to get either an antifungal or antibiotic (with or without cortisone) drop to stop the infection.  After the problem has been controlled, if you find water in your ear canals after showering or swimming, put a drop of rubbing alcohol to dry them up.

Ear infection: It is probably middle ear infection with the ruptured ear drum. May need culture of discharge followed by antibioic pescription. See an ear-nose-throat doctor.

INFECTION: Malodorous ear discharge is probably caused an infection. A common bacteria, pseudomonas may be  the culprit.  You may need oral antibiotics and antibiotic ear drops.  You should get seen.  Hope you are better soon!

Abnormal: There should never be fluid flowing out of the ear.  Please see an ENT who can evaluate your ear health and tell you if there is a reason for the drainage.

Possibilities: Ear drainage is not normal. In swimmers or those with much water exposure it can be infection isolated to the outer canal that triggers such drainage. In other cases it can be infectious drainage from a middle ear infection that has ruptured the eardrum.The way to sort it out is to have the kid seen. It can lead to chronic problems if not tended to properly.

i've had a piercing in the top of the ear for 8 months and it still hurt a bit and sometimes it goes out a kind of white thin, smells weird.what is it?

Infection: Cartilaginous piercings have little blood fow in the tissue around them making healing more difficult also hair and hair products can get in the piercing increasing the risk of infection.  You  really need to make sure that you keep it cleaned regularly and if it is really infected then it should be removed and allowed to heal.
