Likely allergies: Your at notions except for the frequent urination sound like environmental nasal allergies. I would take over the counter Claritin or zyrtec for 2 weeks to see if resolves. The frequent urination would be unrelated and should see a urologist.

Flora shifting: If no fevers or significant pain--let it run! in fact, take Mucinex (guaifenesin) to keep things thin and flowing. Your body is likely re-balancing the flora in its sinuses, and this should stop about double the time you were sick. If fevers/pain, then see dr / urgent care.

Yes: An allergist or ENT comfortable treating different types of rhinitis may be needed to narrow the scope of potential causes for your rhinitis/post-nasal drip.  Antihistamines do not work for all subtypes. A more targeted combination therapy will likely be more effective for you. Good luck

No it won't: Singulair (montelukast) helps reduce inflammation in the airways, upper or lower, helps as an adjuvant therapy on the long term, not meant to treat acute or chronic bacterial/viral infection of the respiratory tract. See your doctor for evaluation, possible chronic rhinosinusitis. You may want to see an Allergist/Immunologist if you have access to one or an ENT specialist, best wishes

Sinusitis: If your symptoms have been going on for a short period of time, less than a week, then i would favor  that this is an upper respiratory infection or viral cold. However, if your symptoms have been going on for longer than 7 to 10 days, then i would suspect that this may be a sinus infection. In that case, antibiotics may be needed to help alleviate your symptoms. See a doctor.
