Several options: You can get these nutrients almost anywhere these days.  They are sold in drug stores, grocery stores, health food stores, and in discount houses, etc.  Many people also use online sources such as vitacost.Com and iherb.Com.  I don't have a list of specific shops in the uk, sorry.

can u take too much vitiman b?

Accepted Answer

Yes & No: B vitamins are water soluble so it's pretty difficult to take too much - at least w/most reputable vitamins as you'll just urinate any excess that you don't need. However, that's not to say they can't cause side effects. Vitamin b3 (niacin) goes thru your liver 1st and can cause some issues before it's excreted. They're all good.: Use the least expensive multivitamin that has the widest variety of needed vitamins, most of which your body probably already has in excess, but also containing those you may be a bit low in. Brands usually don't matter, especially since you end up peeing most of (the excess unneeded) vitamin into the toilet anyway. Beware of too much fat-soluble vitamins k, a, d, and e as they can become toxic!

Unhappy tummy: Taking big doses of anything - including vitamin c - can upset your stomach and give you the runs. If you ever had kidney stones, taking more than 1 gram of vitamin c can increase your chance of getting kidney stones again.

Accepted Answer

Not too much!: Vitamin c is overtaken by many and could have downsides.  Take no more than 100mg/day. Vitamin a is fat soluble, and too much can causes many side effects.  If you take the vitamin a precursor, beta-carotene, the only harm might be yellowing of skin at excessive doses. I recommend the mdr for regular vitamin a.

Yes: Zuchini contains vitamins K, C &amp; B-6 along with manganese (and smaller amounts of other minerals &amp; vitamins).

Wrong Vitamin: Vitamins a, c, e as well as copper and zinc were found to be helpful in controlling amd. The study was called the areds study, and was completed in the U.S. Several years ago.

Not toxic: If one-time overdose, since our body can tolerate quite a wide range of vitamin doses, unless you keep overdosing over a period of time, that would be different.

Correct it!: For someone with deficiency, i recommend 5000 iu of vitamin d3.  After the level is normal, you can cut back to 2000iu.
