Strong medicine: Roaccutane (isotretinoin) is strong medication that is for treating bad acne. It should not be taken by any fertile woman (it causes bad birth defects if taken during pregnancy). A patient should avoid vitamin A supplements or excess dietary vitamin A. Keep an eye on the eyes, lining of the mouth, all skin areas... the drug affects them, such as drying them out. The big issue with coumadin is how much vitimain K is present in the food, or that can be converted by the gut flora into vitamin K.
