Unknown: Testofen is advertised as a fenugreek extract. Tribulus is sold as the tribulus terrestris plant. Some sellers are claiming they are testosterone enhancers. Because they are not real medications approved by the fda, nobody knows what the effects and the side effects are. Especially with plant materials, each batch, and definitely each company's product, can be hugely different in what it contains.

Neither: This is a bodybuilding supplement made from water chestnuts, therefore it is unlikely to harm you.  However, there is not enough research to validate the claims that it will improve strength and lean body mass.

It depends...: This depends on what form as tribulus comes as standardized extracts of various strengths. The whole root powder is taken in doses of up to 6 grams a day while extracts are taken in doses up to 750 mg/day. Shouldn't be a prob.: As long as you take them with enough water there shouldn't be a problem.  Unfortunately neither of these have great evidence to support their use.  Creatinine is taken to help with muscle growth and endurance, but controlled studies have been conflicting.  Tribulus is used to increase testosterone levels, but once again this didn't prove true in controlled studies.

Inconclusive: Some studies suggest benefit but most do not. Probably safe as a supplement for a short time if you're healthy but it has risks including possible prostate problems in men. It may interact with some meds (beta-blockers, digoxin, calcium channel blockers)
and may cause blood sugar to go too low in diabetics. The spiny plant (also known as puncture plant) is unsafe to eat.

Tribulus terrestris: Has been shown to increase some hormones in certain animals, but has not been shown to increase testoterone  in Humans. There is evidence it may contribute to the development of diabetes, and prostate problems. In general this is not a natural product that seems to be beneficial when evidence is held up risk versus benefit ratios don&#x27;t work out. Probably not safe to use, are better alternatives.

Stopping tribulus: Terrestris supplement will cause the side effects to subside. It has not been determined to be safe for long-term use and its benefits are inconclusive. It may be unsafe during pregnancy as it may harm fetal development.

Yes: There should be no problem using this combination. Continue to monitor testosterone levels and adjust accordingly. The tribulus might reduce your testosterone dose.

Tribulus: Also known as Devil's thorn, it has been used as a diuretic, indigestion, sore throat, muscle aches, chronic fatigue, among others. Caution if taken with Lithium or Diabetes medications. Prozac (fluoxetine) should be safe.
