Q: i cannot burp properly after eating even drinking water. i am experiencing reflux as well. maybe i have weak les. how can i manage this problem?

May need EGD: you might have an esophageal stricture or hiatal hernia. Too much acid reflux can can cause inflammation where your esophagus meets your stomach and cause discomfort as well. You can try a 14 day course of Prilosec to reduce acid and and heal any inflammation but if your symptoms persist you should see a GI for further work up. You may need an EGD to look for the problem

Q: taking gerd medicine from 2 months but get it again as i skip medicine. new dr. said low stomach acid leads to acid reflux because les only closes with right amount of acid in stomach. ppis and antacids only lead to further problems. what should i do?

: I think your new doc is misinformed. The LES can be naturally loose, or closure be impaired by the effect of caffeine/nicotine or other factors. Avoid consuming LES impairing items, don't lay down after meals &amp; take your PPI. Also look for a new doc.

Maybe: Testicular trauma, if severe, can rupture the testicle and cause impairment of sperm production but this is very rare. If a man has just had typical playground testicle injuries, it's unlikely to explain fertility problems and he should get a more thorough evaluation.

I'd get checked.: If you sense an asymmetry, mass, or abnormal shape to a testicle, it is worth getting a physician to evaluate it. Non symmetric testicles are common and benign, but a history and physical exam by a doctor can help determine if there is a mass, and if you need further testing with a scrotal ultrasound. Self exams are important as initial screening.

All cases of acute onset of testicular pain must be considered ae torsion until proven otherwise in Emergency Room. Good Luck.

I WannaTakeYouHigher: Yes, there's a permanent fix for it,but before we go THAT far there's dietary changes to try,and other medications too, but if it's SO lax everything leaks back up into your throat, especially at night, that's not good. It could lead to chronic throat and lung problems. And there IS surgery for it.So read-up on it and talk to your doctor! In the meantime, elevate the head of your bed by 30 degrees

You have: Inflammation of your stomach lining and though the report did not say , i bet you have some  reflux or heartburn too because the valve all the very bottom of the esophagus is not tight like it should be so it is easier for contents of the stomach to flow into the esophagus than if it were tight.

Sounds like reflux: U can have gerd w/o h pylori. Avoid triggers like alcohol & caffeine (caffeine is in: coffee, tea, soda, chocolate.) other triggers: mint (gum, candies), citrus (ex. Orange juice, tomato sauce, etc), & in some people spicy food. If you're overweight, wt loss can help. Avoid laying down <2hrs after eating. Control stress if high stress. If these don't help talk to your doc re: other eval & tx.
