Pilonidal cyst: Infected pilonidal cyst likely needs prescribed oral antibiotics at a minimum. Exam by a doctor or surgeon is also needed to be sure there is nothing that needs drainage. If an infection keeps recurring at the site, then surgery will likely be needed again.

No: Terrasil (tacrolimus) is a potent immunosuppressant used during organ transplantation or topically for difficult to control eczema. Leg ulcers most commonly occur from venous insufficiency. Treatment of the venous reflux in combination with compression therapy will give the best lasting results.

Accepted Answer

Depends on cause: Leg ulcers due to arterial disease (blocked artery to leg) the block in the artery must be treated first.  If the ulcer is due to venous disease, pressure bandages and elevating the leg as much as possible.  In either case the terrasil is of minimal use.

does terrasil or wartrol really work to get rid of genital warts? i had no warts or any sign of hpv untill today when i felt a burning feeling when i was going to the restroom so i checked to see n i have genital warts.

Even : Even though over-the-counter wart treatments can be great for a wart on your finger or knee, when you have genital warts, you had better see a doctor for treatment.  The over-the-counter medications were not developed for use in the genital area and can cause even worse burning and irritation.  Give your doctor a call.  Sometimes genital warts will resolve on their own, but it they are causing you discomfort, then your doctor can treat you appropriately.  Good luck!

Diflucan (fluconazole) is an oral or intravenous prescription medication which treats fungal infections which invade any part of the body including mouth, throat, lungs, bladder, and bloodstream.

Exercise : A 7hour steep terrain walk is very strenuous. Too much differs for individuals but there's no doubt that its a bushel of stress.

Nausea, dehydration: Nausea can be one of the initial symptoms of lithium toxicity. Getting overheated and dehydrated is often a cause of lithium toxicity. However being on medications like Seroquel (quetiapine) and Lamictal can also make one feel a bit nauseous if dehydrated. It is vital to keep oneself well-hydrated when on meds like these. Glad you are ok now.

i have lower back pain only when walking slowly.if walking fast, even with a heavy pack over rough terrain, i dont have any pain. how can i fix this?

Talk to your OB: In every pregnancy, a woman starts out with a 3-5% chance of having a baby with a birth defect. This is called her background risk. Class C or Class X medications including the ones you named can increase the chance of problems. Stop taking these meds and talk to your OB about your history in taking these meds during pregnancy and discuss the options for testing and determining any problems.

hi,ive been thinking about taking anabolic steroids.i just have a few questions if you dont mind.i have keratosis pilaris, would anabolic steroids make this worse? i have oily skin due to the kp, i was prescribed tetrasyl would i be able to do both?
