Dr. time: Might be an early viral or other infection. You need checked by your Dr or Urgent Care to be sure it's not something serious, particularly if home / OTC meds don't control the symptoms.

Two months??: Could be a residual injury to her neck or some sort of concussion symptoms that are still present.  Did she go to the hospital or see  a Dr. after the accident?  I would go see a Dr. and have testing done.

: Your best chance remains establishing with  a local physician and having your medical records transferred from your previous doc timely so that you get a diagnosis and proper treatment. Your condition will require a physical exam with or without cultures. Alternatively if this is a recurring condition for which you got treated in the past, your previous doc might be able to help in the mean time.

my nails turned to lindsay's nails and i only noticed it after missing my birth control and taking two in the same day. could it be from that?

No: If you really think you have half and half nails, see a Dr because this is associated with severe kidney failure. But is not related to OC pills in any way.
