mri this week/peripheral oblique tear medial meniscus. was already in a lot of pain but i turned weird earlier and now excruciating pain and cant bear weight or bend. normal for this injury or go to er? ortho closed so i cant call until tomorrow?

: Pain and swelling may be minimized by ice, rest, and elevation. Compression may help as tolerated (ace wrap or knee sleeve. Call to see if your MRI can be moved up and orthopedic surgeon may want to re examine you

ive been dropping weight fast 2wk ago, but now i'm not losing any more, but still restricting. ive heard its called starvation mode but when will it end by still restricting? its dangerous, i know, but simply would like an accurate answer. to help

Starvation Mode: True starvation mode is dangerous, rare, and occurs when the body has little fat storage (5%) and begins to use protein. Metabolic adaptation is commonly seen with those losing weight and occurs throughout a person's weight loss efforts. It's common to lose more the first 2 wks on a diet then taper to approximately 2-8 lbs/month. Don't expect to lose every week. Look at the average per month.

how to treat my perforated eardrum...it almost two years now...but no problem in hearing. can i use headphones and answer the calls with the same year?

Perforated eardrum : Many eardrum perforations heal on their own and in cases where they do not there is a surgical procedure to transfer tissue to patch the tympanic membrane. It would be acceptable to use headphones and answer phone calls. I would however be cautious in getting water in the ear or using q-tips as this could allow passage of material past the tympanic membrane into the middle ear. I recommend that you see an ENT for further evaluation.

Can be either caused by infections: candida, herpes in immunosupressed people, or after vomiting with a full stomach after eating solid foods.The last one is particulary dangerous because it can lead to complete laceration of the esophagus a life threatening complication.Sometimes acid reflux can cause lesions on esophagus as well.

No such.: but there are many common disorders in which the tears are lacking. Sjorgren's is probably what you mean (autoimmune disease with very low tear duct activity.. dry eye syndrome). also can be a medication effect or aging.

Angular cheilitis: This condition is multifactorial and it can be caused by  infections, mechanical factors, nutritional deficiencies, or skin conditions.  I suspect yours may be mechanical in nature.  Use lip moisturizers and correct any underlying vitamin deficiencies.
