No: Pica is eating non-food in an attempt to correct some deficiency. Usually it is described as eating dirt or mud to get missing minerals, or due to other reasons. It has been described with people eating paper, clay, metal, chalk, soil, glass, or sand.

No.: A pica is an uncontrollable craving for some food or substance. Your behavior is a "habit." No big deal if it does not apply to lots of other behaviors that you have that may interfere with normal activities of living or affect your relationships.
