Yes.: Svt, (supraventricular tachycardia) is a short-circuit of the normal heart conduction pathways. Usually there is a small area that, if removed, would Prohibit the circuit from conducting and therefore block the svt. During ablation, a catheter is placed in this area of the heart, and the tip generates rf energy to scar the heart tissue in a small area, which prevents it from conducting electricity.

Good question : Asthma control needs a comprehensive evaluation, control of co-morbid conditions as rhino-sinustis, GERD, etc is important, adherence to treatment plan for controller medications, not including LABA, is needed, for breakthrough symptoms or asthma flares, levoalbuterol, which doesn't cause tachycardia, can be used for opening up the lower airways, the bronchi, regular follow-up is important

: It is firmly believed that alcohol can aggravate ventricular &amp; atrial irritability &amp; six beers is heavy intake of alcohol in one day. I trust you won't  get one MD to ok that.

what would you recommend as best beta blocker with least side effects to treat my svt? propranolol & metoprolol made me too dizzy.

Dose dependent: It's not so much the med as the dose - since the side effect of all BBs is to lower BP. If your BP becomes too low, you'll get dizzy. That said, the BB I like the best for SVT is nadolol. The usual dose is 20-80 mg once a day, but for you, I'd recommend starting at 10 mg once a day and if you tolerate it, think about increasing the dose.

Breathing: Good that you were checked, but any blood test can give a false negative.  Nothing is 100%. However, you had other tests that confirmed the lack of PE yesterday.  Could your problem be asthma?  Could it be costochondritis or pleuritis?  Since your symptoms have worsened, you deserve further evaluation.

is cipro (ciprofloxacin) safe to take for 3 days to treat uti if i have ms and low blood pressure? low resting heart rate and palpitations. i get svt every now and thn and very sensitive to meds.

Probably: Cipro (ciprofloxacin) should not cause problems with your MS or blood pressure.  Usually you need to take it at least 5 days for bladder infections

Make a visit.: If there's ever a time to have a good, sit down, heart-to-heart with your cardiologist, this is it.  Doing exercise with svt depends on a lot of things - how old your are, if you have other heart disease, if your svt is controlled by meds or not, how often you get it.  When you see your cards doc, ask specific questions: ex "how high should I let my heart rate get and for how long?" good luck!
